This product is made with fresh seasonal mackerel (tokisaba) caught in the rich waters of Kyushu, from the Tsushima Strait to the Goto Sea, and dressed in a special sesame soy sauce that is popular at our directly managed stores.
By quickly freezing the fish to below -20°C immediately after it is caught, we are able to kill the anisakis and provide it with safe and secure quality.
Enjoy the taste of Hakata with rice or as a snack with alcohol.
It can be eaten in about 10 minutes after thawing naturally from the frozen state.
