Horse mackerel and chub mackerel caught by line fishing in the Bungo Channel, where the water masses of the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean collide, are called "Sekiaji" and "Sekisaba," and are highly valued as luxury brand fish.

Yamaro Watanabe was founded in 1908. It serves exceptionally fresh fish, suitable for sashimi, carefully selected by discerning chefs and seasoned with only salt.
Enjoy fresh seafood at home. Each fish is individually vacuum packed, making it a great gift.

How to eat : Heat a fish grill or frying pan over medium heat and cook the flesh side first. Once browned to the desired color, turn the fish over and cook the skin side until browned to your liking.
