Meat udon from Suisan Udon, one of Fukuoka's three major udon chains.

The dish is made with sweet and spicy stewed beef, a broth carefully squeezed from ingredients such as mackerel, kelp, and shiitake mushrooms, and noodles made with "Sukesan Udon flour" that have a chewy texture and a smooth mouthfeel.

The combination of these ingredients is perfectly balanced and so delicious that you'll find yourself eating it in no time.

It is characterized by its slightly strong flavor and lingering sweetness.

Suesan udon originated in Kitakyushu.

Among the many menu items, Susumu's specialty, "Niku Udon" has been a perennial favorite. It contains a generous 90g of sweet and spicy stewed beef, which pairs perfectly with Susumu's signature chewy udon noodles and specially made udon broth.

The golden broth, carefully extracted from kelp, shiitake mushrooms, dried mackerel, dried round urume, and dried bonito, is the key to the flavor of Sukesan.
