Umegae mochi is made with only domestically produced ingredients and refined sugar, and is filled with a generous amount of carefully cooked homemade bean paste. The mochi rice cakes are baked at our store in Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine and then flash frozen, so you can enjoy the same taste as in the store. We recommend defrosting it in the microwave and then toasting it in the toaster until the outside is crispy. On hot summer days, you can enjoy a cool, chewy texture by just letting it defrost naturally. |
